About Us

About us

Who are we?

We are a community of professionals who aim to enable the most talented Ukrainian students to achieve their career goals. As of 2023, more than 50 experienced professionals confirmed their membership as donors and mentors in the project (from Goldman Sachs, Citi, Google, Microsoft, Uber, McKinsey, Facebook; graduates from Harvard, MIT, LBS, Wharton; academics and businesspeople from more than 10 countries).

We are raising funds to provide scholarships sponsoring education in Ukraine’s top universities. In addition to financial aid, we provide our recipients with mentorship and extensive networking opportunities, as well as organize events and activities to give a boost to their performance in the early stages of their careers. We are focusing on prominent companies in relevant industries, primarily, management consulting, tech, IB / PE, FMCG.

Ampersand is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Ampersand Education Foundation, registered in the US as EID 83-3062616; registered in Ukraine as USREOU 42697138).

Why are we doing this?

  1. We sincerely believe that education is the best form of investment and that the early stages of career development determine future professional success.
  2. We have personally experienced this journey and thus acknowledge the significance of appropriate mentorship and guidance. We want to contribute our expertise and knowledge to those who might benefit from them the most.
  3. We aim to create a community where talented individuals are offered all the necessary support. Members will be selected based solely on their achievements, personal traits and virtues, regardless of their gender, race, financial situation, and other irrelevant factors. We want them to succeed in the best companies and institutions of higher learning.

One cannot remedy the educational system in Ukraine overnight, but we are determined to improve it step by step, each time supporting more talented young individuals.
